My Story

I didn't come to this work from a textbook.

I came to it the same way most of my clients do: through something that happened I couldn't explain away, couldn't logic my way out of, and couldn't heal by pretending it wasn't there.

I'm a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. A Black bisexual woman who grew up learning that some things don't get said out loud, that healing is private, that you carry what you carry, and you keep moving. I kept moving for a long time. 

And then, at some point, I stopped and started doing the actual work — therapy, shadow work, inner child healing, tarot, trauma-informed yoga, reiki, and all of things included in the slow, unglamorous process of learning how to trust myself again.

Synchronized Souls Inc. was born out of that process. Not as a finished product, but as something I built and am building, while I figure it out. 

Founded in 2019, SSI is a trauma-informed healing practice offering tarot readings, energy healing, candle rituals, coaching, and group programs for souls navigating something hard or something that's finally starting to shift.

The work is grounded in the understanding that healing isn't linear, that the body holds what the mind can't always name, and that the divination tools — tarot, reiki, ritual — are mirrors, not magic. They help you see what's already in you. They don't do the work for you, but they can make the work feel less like something you're doing alone.

SSI serves people across the full range of what it means to be human — survivors, soulpreneurs, souls in transition, souls managing grief, souls who are thriving and souls who want to go deeper. The through-line is always the same: you are allowed to take up space here. You don't have to arrive with anything figured out.
