When I began my career at Indeed, I felt aligned with the mission of helping people get jobs. But as time went on, something was missing. The work no longer resonated with my soul’s purpose, and I knew I needed more—a way to create impact that felt deeply personal and transformative. While working full-time, I began building my heart-centered business on the side, driven by a desire to help others heal and grow.

For eight months, I poured my heart into my business but made no money. It was a humbling and challenging time that forced me to confront my shadows, limiting beliefs, and fears around abundance. Everything shifted when I began doing shadow work and integrating the lessons I uncovered. By synchronizing with my soul’s mission, I removed the blocks holding me back. My efforts finally paid off—I matched my corporate income, and only then did I feel ready to take the leap into my business full-time.

Running my business was deeply rewarding, and as much as I loved my business,  I found myself missing the work I did in tech: helping customers, solving challenges, and leveraging my expertise. So, I pivoted again, stepping into a remote Customer Success role at a tech startup, while continuing to grow my business. This wasn’t a step back—it was a realignment that brought balance and abundance into my life. Now, I enjoy remote work, free travel, stipends, and benefits, all while showing up fully as myself. Whether hosting mindfulness sessions, conducting tarot readings to my coworkers, or supporting customers, my day job is also grounded in my soul.

This journey has taught me that being a soulpreneur isn’t about choosing between financial stability and spiritual alignment—it’s about creating a life that reflects your purpose, embracing your evolution, and pivoting without guilt when necessary.
