You’re invited to join us for a deeply transformative and empowering experience at our upcoming Empowerment Summit. This event marks a significant milestone in our Courageous Connections journey, and I’m honoured to share it with you.
For the first time in over 10 years, I will be sharing my survivor story—a journey that I once spoke about to medical professionals and students, but have since held close to my heart. Together, we’ll explore how reclaiming our stories can lead to reclaiming our power.
As part of this journey, we’ll move through a live dance session led by the incredible Shakkoi Hibbert. This session is designed to transmute trauma and celebrate the strength and presence we’ve cultivated within our bodies. Dance will be our medium for releasing what no longer serves us, and embracing the fullness of our embodied selves.
Our summit will end with a powerful and inspiring keynote address from Zabie Yamasaki, M.Ed, RYT—a trauma-informed yoga instructor, survivor, author, educator, activist, and consultant. Zabie is a soul I deeply admire, and her wisdom on healing and resilience will leave a lasting impact on our collective journey.
This summit is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of our shared strength and a testament to the transformative power of healing. Come with an open heart, ready to connect, reflect, and honour the incredible journey we, as CSA Survivors, have taken.

These guided meditations are specifically designed to help survivors ground themselves, manage anxiety, and cultivate self-compassion. Each meditation is a step towards rebuilding trust within yourself and finding peace in the present moment.
Our worksheets are designed to be practical tools you can use daily to navigate your healing journey. Each worksheet addresses key aspects of trauma recovery, helping you build resilience and reclaim control over your life. Where to Start: A Guide for Survivors is a compassionate and empowering resource designed for individuals at the beginning of their healing journey from trauma. Created by Ashantè Fray, a trauma-informed yoga instructor, proud CSA survivor, and founder of Synchronized Souls, this guide draws from personal experience and professional insight to offer practical tools, reflective exercises, and spiritual guidance.
